Silliness and Play
Reindeer Antlers….with pantyhose and balloons
Grab a Hand…Close eyes and reach in to the circle to grab a hand. Untangle the knot without letting go.
Nature’s Alphabet…works best if they go for a lil stroll outside.
Fashion Show….silly silly silly
Paper Airplane Contest….coolest looking, farthest flying etc
Clown Objects….give them a prop and they find a use
Who Am I??? Use funny hats and props and role play telling a story

Spin a Yarn…write or tell a progressive story
Just TRY to Stand Up...try with groups of 2 to 10 or more!
You Don’t Know Jack…think of Jack expressions…players drop out if they repeat or cannot think of one.

Animal Building…as a group, make yourselves into an animal. NO talking!
FFEACBH…group charades; act out Fast Foods, Electrical Appliances, Comic Book Heroes
Alphabet Movies….think of a different movie title starting with the letter of the alphabet you are on…don’t repeat!’
Fruit Basket….everyone says a fruit and when the fruit basket is tipped (say fruit basket) everyone changes seats
I Love You Baby….in circle one person is “it” and tries to get another to smile…..the other person has to say WITHOUT SMILING….”I love you baby, but I just can’t smile” good for groups
BIG BOOTY…..enough said!
Dibby Dip…sit in circle and keep three things in your head at once…you’ll have to see it to believe it!
Quiet Activities
Either/Or….”if you could be/go/do etc…..either this or that….would you and why?”
Storytelling….add on a story or tell a story of your own
Books…Tajar Tales, Shel Silverstein, or other age-appropriate stories
Circle Up…put 4-8 people (depending on the size group you have) in the circle with eyes closed, touch them on the head if they have had an impact on you. Put different people inside the circle
Psychiatrist…Have one person leave the room and the group decides what is wrong with them…the “psychiatrist” has to figure it out!
Pulse Pass…someone is it and tries to see who is passing the pulse
Sounds…how many different sounds can you hear? In or Out
Squirrel Houses….make a habitat for an animal (not a horse)
Later Letters….have them write a letter to themselves. You can either send later…or they can take with them
Letters Home….write to mom or dad
Going on a Hike…each pair of kids goes on hike and draws a map…trade….try to take the same hike
Murder in the Dark….OK, but not for little kids…FAV with the teens!
