Megan Shoaf, CCLS

Megan joined the Camp Hobé board in 2025. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist with several years of experience providing psychosocial support to children and families in a hospital setting. Megan received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama. For the past seven years, she has been employed as a child life specialist at Primary Children’s Hospital, where she spent several years in oncology and now works in the emergency department, while pursuing a degree in nursing. Megan has supported Camp Hobé in a volunteer role for the past two years and is passionate about giving campers a place to simply be kids and a safe place to experience emotions with others who understand. In her free time, Megan enjoys climbing, skiing, and spending time with friends.
