Phil is the general counsel for B9, a San Francisco-based fintech focused on providing banking services to the millions of underbanked and unbanked individuals around the world. Phil has several years of regulatory experience and has helped multiple start-ups, fintechs and banks navigate the complex financial regulatory environment. Phil received his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University and his Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In his free-time, Phil enjoys working as a ski instructor at Park City, mountain biking, and hiking with his dogs.
