Ben joined our board in 2021. Ben has spent his time over the last few years helping people make better decisions. Beginning by analyzing operation costs at a defense contractor, then moving into advising doctors and health care administrators, to now strategizing for the largest university in the country – his experience continues to grow. What has remained constant is a desire to do work that furthers his impact on underserved and needy communities. In a former life, Ben was on the path to become a clinical child psychologist, even completing much of his PhD and volunteering at a therapeutic preschool in Salt Lake City. While that ended up not being his ultimate destination, what remained was a desire to work for the benefit of people in need. Adding in a strong sense of business acumen through his MBA at the University of Utah, doing more for more people is a large part of what drives him to contribute professionally and here at Camp Hobé.
