Alaina joined our board in 2021. She was raised outside of Seattle, Washington where her passion for community and health outreach grew. She was a volunteer for kids with Muscular Dystrophy for five years, where she became passionate about working with underserved populations. She then went on to get her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. After this, she served for over two years in the Peace Corps in Albania where she was a Health Extension volunteer. Since she got back in 2019, she has worked in Wilderness Therapy and now currently works at a Residential Treatment Center for teenage girls with substance and behavioral abuse issues. In her free time, she loves to train for half marathons, teach yoga, cook, and listen to great music.
