Camp Hobé History

Created in 1985, Camp Hobé is administered and run almost entirely by volunteers; there are several part-time staff members, paid well below standard rates. Rachel Hunt, CCLS, served as camp director from 1988 until 1994. Chris Beckwith, PharmD, has served as camp director since 1995 and has volunteered with the program since 1989.

Since 1995, the program has been held at Camp Wapiti in Settlement Canyon near Tooele, Utah.
