Help Hobé

Funding for Camp Hobé comes entirely from grants, donations, and camper tuition. We are always looking for financial and in-kind donations to help us improve and expand the services we provide campers. YOU can make a difference! Camp Hobé Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Please take this opportunity to make a donation to Camp Hobé. Every bit helps.

Here’s what your money will help provide:

$20 Camp T-shirt for one child
$45 Camp tuition and T-shirt for one child
$100 A day of camp for one child
$500 An entire week of camp for one child
$1000 An entire week of camp for two children

In-Kind Donations
Money is not the only way you can help our kids. We also need supplies to run camp and make it special for our campers. By donating these items, you lower our costs and reduce the amount of money we must raise. We are always looking for the following:

• Disposable cameras for campers who do not have their own
• Phone cards so campers can keep in touch with their camp friends throughout the year
• Stuffed animals
• Water bottles or water bottle holders
• Fanny packs or backpacks
• CD cases or holders
• Sunglasses
• T-shirts
• Hats: baseball caps, floppy caps, ski caps
• Travel kits or personal care kits, including basic toiletries or manicure kits
• Umbrellas
• Thumbnail or USB memory drives
• Fun stuff to give as prizes, including travel-size games, small toys, and age-appropriate CDs
• Patient-education stuff (kid level) about cancer meds or supportive care meds (antiemetics, antiinfectives, pain meds, growth factors, etc)
• Gift certificates to give as prizes to either young campers (6-12 years) or teenaged campers (13-19 years), including restaurants, ice cream places, stores, zoo, skiing, planetarium, or amusement parks
• Tickets to give as prizes to young campers or teenaged campers, including sporting events, movie passes, music concerts, dance concerts, theater, or other cultural events
  
• Kleenex or tissue in boxes or individual packets
• Hand sanitizer
• Alcohol wipes
• Hand lotion
• Lip balm
• Insect repellent
• Sunscreen
• Unopened bottled water, Gatorade, or other sports drinks
• Karaoke CDs to add to our collection
• Gift certificates to craft or sporting-good stores
• New, full-size pool floats for our campers who have central intravenous lines
• Polaroid film so we can send camp photos home with each camper on the last day
• Unused long-distance phone cards for our volunteer staff to use for camp business
• Gift certificates for office supply stores (OfficeDepot, OfficeMax, Staples, etc.) for camp business
• Gift certificates for copy stores (AlphaGraphics, Kinkos, etc.) for camp business
